The opposition filed the notice to move a motion of no-confidence against Prime Minister James Marape to the office of the Parliament Speaker before the house sat this morning.

Another late start to today's proceeding at 10:38 am.

Opposition media confirm the submission of the notice.

Under Parliament's standing orders, members of the Private Business Committee only sit after lunch every Wednesday, and the outcome of the deliberation will be made known to Parliament by the Speakers chair on Thursday.
