As usual, the National Parliament reconvened with a quorum after 37 minutes of the 2 pm start time but did not last for more than 15 minutes before the government used its numerical numbers on the floor to adjourn to Wednesday [tomorrow] at 10 am.

Internal Security Minister Peter Tsamalili Jnr, who is now the leader of Government Business, the first performance was the successful motion to adjourn Parliament.

The Opposition side of the house was first to take their seats with a new look front bench with today's inclusion of former Finance Minister and Leader of Government Business Rainbo Paita.

After Parliament's adjournment, Deputy Prime Minister John Rosso, State Owned Enterprise Minister William Duma, and a list of Government bench MPs crossed over to the Opposition front bench to shake hands with Mr Paita, who recently moved side to the alternate Government.
