Tomuriesa commends move by MP’s

The Opposition Leader, Douglas Tomuriesa has commended the move by several Members of Parliament who have defected from the government over the weekend.

He commended the leadership of the six ministers who have put the country first and chart a new course for the country.

The six ministers include Minister for Energy, Robert Naguri, Minister for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology, Don Polye, Minister for Finance, Renbo Paita, Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Isi Henry Leonard, Minister for Mining, Dilu Muguwa and Minister for Housing, Bobby Bomareo.

Mr. Tomuriesa says that the leader of the government business, and 5 ministers leave the ruling Pangu party, and the coalition demonstrates that there is a big difference between how the Prime Minister manages the country and the Cabinet.

He assures the country that the Opposition is working on a rescue plan to chart a new course for the country.

The Opposition Leader has urged those leaders who are still deciding to reflect on the current state of affairs and decide if this was what the country's forefathers dreamed of.
