United Resource Party remain in government camp

A government minister and member of the United Resource Party [URP] has confirmed that they have set up camp at a hotel in Port Moresby.
Environment and Conservation and Climate Change Minister Simo Kilepa told NBC News this morning, they are weighing up their options at this time.
He confirmed they have 10 members in camp at the Grand Papua Hotel.
URP is a major coalition partner in the current Pangu led government and has six ministries with their leader William Duma occupying the State-Owned Enterprises portfolio.
This follows the massive exodus of 22 members of parliament including state ministers overnight and this morning, who are now in lock down at the Sanctury Hotel in Port Moresby.
It’s expected URP will announce soon whether it will remain with prime minister James Marape or move out.
NBC News understands Pangu Party led by Marape is yet to set up camp as expected at the time of publication of this news.
