Teams ready to conduct polling: Sohe By-election

With the campaign period drawing to a close, provincial electoral officials are working diligently to ensure that all election materials are in order before polling begins on Saturday, May 25th.

Candidates and scrutinizers have been reminded to adhere to election laws throughout the process.

Daisy Hombagani, the provincial election manager, expressed her gratitude to the candidates and their supporters for maintaining a peaceful campaign period.

She emphasized the importance of following the handbook and educational materials provided for the nomination, polling, and counting processes.

Hombagani also reminded everyone that according to the organic law on National and Local Level Government Elections, campaigning must stop on the eve of polling, which is Friday, May 24th.

Additionally, 44 polling teams have been confirmed to conduct polling within Sohe District in the Northern Province, and they are set to be dispatched by the end of this week.
