Kemabolo SDA church launches its PNG for Christ program

Kemabolo Seventh Day Adventist church in Rigo, Central Province, has joined the nationwide PNG For Christ movement spearheaded by SDA.
The local church in Balawaia area staged a marching parade over the Easter weekend to mark the launching of the evangelical program.
Speaking to NBC Online on Sunday, Kemabolo SDA elder Wala Vali said the launch signified their participation in the 2024 event which will be held in Port Moresby this month.
“The purpose of the march that we did from the end of the village to the church ground was simply to launch the PNG For Crist 2024 Program,” Vali told NBC during the launch.
“It’s an evangelism program which will be conducted this month from April 26 to May 12 in Port Moresby.
“So in preparation for that evangelism campaign or meeting that is aimed at speaking about revelation of hope or the second coming of Jesus.”
The local occasion on Sunday was successfully held despite the wet conditions, beginning with marching from the tip of the village, through the community and ended the parade at the church area./

Church members from nearby villages in Tauruba, Bonanamo, including a singing ministry from Wanigela SDA church were invited to commemorate the day.
Elder Vali said similar events have been held across the SDA society around the nation.
“What we have witnessed in Kemabolo is similarly been staged right throughout the country.
“There are other centers or provinces in the country that are conducting their launching programs and doing awareness on the national event which will eventuate in the nation’s capital.”
