Electricity outage starts Thursday parliamentary proceeding

It was a black out moment to start proceedings of day three parliament sitting for this week.
Already a norm, the peoples house resumed an hour late than the 10am start.
As the bells echoed throughout the corridors calling members of parliament into the chamber, only members of the Opposition were visible in the darkness of the chamber due to the electricity outage.
Electricity returned and by 10: 30am, members of the government and middle benches walked into the chamber.
Acting Speaker Koni Iguan walked into the chamber at 11:14am, and a visible quorum started parliament business for Thursday.
