Body of Late Jimmy Uguro, Minister for Education to arrive in Port Moresby later today

The body of the late Education Minister Jimmy Uguro is expected to arrive in Port Moresby around 3pm this afternoon.

The late ministers' body is currently being dressed at the Boutique Hotel in Wewak and will be put in a casket arranged by the East Sepik Provincial Administration before he will be taken to the airport for the flight to Port Moresby.

Mr Uguro died in his sleep this morning in a hotel room in Wewak where Doctors who attended to him believe he died from severe cardiac arrest.

The late Uguro was in the East Sepik Province at the invite of International Trade and Investment Minister and Yangoru Saussia MP, Richard Maru for the conversion of the Wengei High School to Secondary School status.

An official statement will be released later today.

Jimmy Uguro's death has brought the total number of MPs who have passed on in this 11th Parliament to five.
