Prison visitors turned drug smugglers caught in Western Highlands
Three prison visitors’ unsuccessful attempt to smuggle marijuana to an inmate will now throw them in the same prison.
Correctional Services officer at Baisu Prison in Western Highlands made a shock find, when unwrapping cooked food brought in over the weekend.

Prison Officer Regina Rumints informed NBC Western Highlands that, a man and two females were arrested and detained at the Mt Hagen Police Station Cell waiting for their court appearance on Wednesday.
She revealed that prison visitors placed 10 packs of marijuana into sweet potatoes [kaukau] but were caught following a tip off.
Ms. Rumints said this find is first for the prison, and appealed to prison visitors not to attempt in smuggling any illegal substances and objects that will make them guilty of an offence.
