Hytarc College donates office equipment to Police

A Police Station in the Port Moresby North West Electorate has receive much needed help from an education institution.

Hytarc TVET College donated a new desktop, laptop and printer to Idubada Police station.

College director Michael Rogo spoke on the importance of supporting police, “when problems arise, police are the first people we reach out too.

“I think they are an important government institution in the country who need a lot of support… we’ve come to donate these office things [and] we hope to continue in the future."

Station commander Joseph Salle said the office supplies will be used for electronic information storage.

“We’ve faced challenges with keeping our records, which have been done manually.

“We thank Hytarc College for the support in recognizing our needs. This support outlines their confidence in the work we do.”

Meanwhile, Rogo urged other business houses to also assist the zone one cops as well as other police institutions around the country.
