The body of the Late Jimmy Uguro arrives in Madang

The Body of the Late Education Minister and Member for Usino/ Bundi, Jimmy Uguro, has finally arrived in Madang.

Prime Minister, James Marape, other government ministers accompanied the Late Uguro's body and his family to Madang on a chartered Q400 aircraft.

They were received at the airport by Madang Provincial Member Governor, Ramsey Pariwa, Member for Middle Ramu, Kansol Harwai Kamdaru, Member for Sumkar, Alex Suguman, Housing Minister, Dr Bomareo, and a huge crowd of mourners including school children.

The body was conveyed to the Madang Provincial Government Assembly Chambers for members of the Madang Provincial Government to pay their last respect to him.

Students and staff were also present to commemorate the significant contributions of the Late MP and warmly welcome his casket to the home province for the last time.

A three day program has been put together for the Late Ministers funeral program.

The body will overnight at the family residence in Torokina Estate before being taken home to his final resting place in Usino Bundi District tomorrow.
