Madang hooks up to National Television Service

Madang province has finally being switched onto the new National
Television Service much to the delight of residents in the provincial
capital.
Many who viewed the Kundu 2 Service on Monday expressed satisfaction
about the local content of programs.
The province became the 8th to receive the television signal.
Vanimo in Sandaun Province will be next to access the TV signals.
Meanwhile the Executive Director of the National Television Service
Joe Wafewa indicated that there are plans to increase the broadcast
time next year
Currently the television service starts from 6 in the evening to 8
o'clock in the night.
He also said that by the end of next year they are hoping to install
the program links in all the provinces in the country. |
