Man allegedly killed by Chinese employer

Wed Dec 03, 2008 4:00pm

An employee of a fishing vessel was reportedly murdered by his boss at the Port Moresby Fairfax Harbor seafront.

Police homicide officers told N.B.C News this morning that the man was a local, who was allegedly killed by his Chinese employer.

Circumstances surrounding his death are not clear at this stage, but witnesses say he was last seen arguing with the company manager on Monday night.

His body was only found yesterday by some people in the water near the Port Moresby harbor.

The body has since being taken to the Port Moresby General Hospital morgue.
